HOW TO MAKE CNC PATTERN IN 3DsMAX FOR BEGINNERS

Hi viewers my name is aditya singh and this is my new post and this post is especially for the beginners who use 3dsmax..

Today in this post i am going to tell you a very simple trick to make a cnc pattern in 3dsmax.  Part -1 So let's start...






MAKE A PLANE

First of all what you have to do is go to standard primitives select a plane and make it ok. Length and breadth of the plane you can decide as per your own dimension how much large or how much big a cnc pattern you want to make ok .. 




  INCREASE LENGTH AND BREADTH SEGEMENT

After making a plane as per your own dimension. select plane and go to modify then increase length and breadth segement of the plane you can increase the length and breadth segement upto 2’(feet) ok.





    EDITABLE POLY

After increasing length and breadth of your plane what you have to do is convert your plane into editable poly..





  EDGE

After converting it select edge in editable poly and then select any single  segement or any single edge of your plane .




POLY MODELLING

After selecting any edge or segement of your plane go to the modelling option in your toolbar select it and after selecting modelling option then what you have to do is select polygon modelling inside modelling option ok. Then after selecting polygon modelling there is option inside polygon modelling i.e generate topology select generate topology

After selecting generate topology a toolbox will appear in front of you in that pre-loaded different types of maps are present in it. Then simply just take your cursor on those maps the name of maps will appear ok . Select skin map from it or you can select any map of your choice..



  SKIN MAP.

After selecting skin map your plane will  
Convert into skin map it will copy the property of skin map.





 AGAIN EDITABLE POLY

After converting the plane into skin then go to editable poly select polygon and select your whole plane ok. Then select insert ok. Then insert your plane by 2’(feet)
Ok. You can insert it by 2’ not more then 2’( feet) .ok . After inserting it delete all your selected ploygon ( when you insert your plane after inserting it your ploygon will automatically selected ) and turbo smooth your plane you will get your organic cnc pattern...
